This recipe is for a restaurant-style, classic diner burger. My family members support my cooking. When I started making perfectly juicy cheeseburgers, my children helped me. They enjoy cooking. It is delicious food, and you can serve it for dinner.

Out of all burgers, the cheeseburger is the best. Cheeseburgers are made with simple ingredients. They use burger buns with minced beef, tomato slices, red onion, fresh lettuce leaves, tomato ketchup, and other sauces.

Burgers are very popular because everyone enjoys them for any occasion. I’m sharing how to make a perfectly juicy cheeseburger and serve it at home with crispy fries and sauces.

Below are my rules, tips, and tricks to end up with the best homemade cheeseburger recipe every time.

INGREDIENTS FOR CHEESEBURGER

  1. 1/2 kg beef mince (80/20)
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Black pepper
  4. 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying
  5. Red onion slices
  6. Tomato slices
  7. Fresh lettuce leaves
  8. 4 slices of American cheese
  9. 4 burger buns
  10. 4 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  11. 4 tablespoons burger sauce
  12. 4 tablespoons American mustard

Simple ingredients for a cheeseburger—let’s make it!

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. First, take a large bowl, add the minced beef, some salt, and black pepper, and mix well with your hands until combined. Of course, you can add an egg, breadcrumbs, or sauces for a spicier taste, but a simple burger is the best. Mix the minced beef and separate it into 4 pieces. Flatten and shape them into patties. Be careful not to break the patties, and set them aside for cooking.
  2. Heat a medium grill pan on high heat, add some olive oil, and heat it. Then place the burger patties into the pan and cook until well done. When you see the color change, flip the patties to cook the other side until the color changes. Cooking time is about 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. When the other side is almost done, add a slice of cheese to each patty and allow it to melt over the top for 2 more minutes. When you see the cheese melt and the patties are juicy and well-cooked, turn off the heat and allow the patties to rest for at least 4 minutes. To make a perfect cheeseburger, use good quality cheese like American cheese, which can be found in most supermarkets.
  4. Toast the burger buns in the same pan. Repeat the process for all the buns.
  5. To assemble, place a toasted bun on a plate, add some tomato ketchup, mustard, and burger sauce, then add a lettuce leaf, tomato slice, red onion slice, and a fried cheese patty. Add more ketchup, sauce, and a lettuce leaf on top, then cover with the other half of the bun. Repeat the process to make 3 more juicy cheeseburgers.

SERVING
