Steak and baked potatoes is my Favorited dish because it is healthy and delicious. At my family party, steak and baked potatoes is the main menu. Everybody likes steak and baked potatoes. Steak is very easy to cook. Steak and baked potatoes’ crispy, fluffy, and creamy texture makes it even more enjoyable. When my family requests it at dinner time, steak and baked potatoes are cooked in a very short time. It is very easy and takes a short time to prepare. Baked potatoes with spicy steak, melted cheese, and fresh cream mix together, and the flavour is absolutely satisfying.

Ingredients for Steak and Baked Potatoes

Mainly, a few ingredients are needed for steak and baked potatoes. The main foods are potatoes and steak. Some ingredients are below:

  1. Steak: 2 to 3 petite steaks. Of course, fresh steaks will be used.

  2. Potatoes: 3 big-sized potatoes. Big potatoes bake very easily.

  3. Butter: 5 tablespoons of salted butter. Use one tablespoon per steak.

  4. Salt and black pepper: To taste.

  5. Garlic: 2 teaspoons minced garlic. Minced garlic flavour is so nice. You can also use garlic powder.

  6. Heavy cream: Use for the Parmesan sauce.

  7. Parsley: Fresh minced parsley leaves for the sauce.

  8. Olive oil: Use olive oil for the baked potatoes and to cook the steak patties, as it has a higher smoke point.

How to Make Baked Potatoes and Steak

This recipe is simple, so try cooking it. I am sure you will love this steak and baked potatoes, and you will try it. The baking time for the potatoes depends on their size. Bigger potatoes will take more time.

So let’s go and try steak and baked potatoes.

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking pan with foil. Take one big potato and clean it well with water. Brush the potato with olive oil on all sides and prick it with a fork. Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on all sides. Repeat the process with the remaining potatoes. Bake for about 50 minutes to 1 hour. Wait until they are well-cooked, and check with a fork.
  2. While the baked potatoes are set aside, cook the steak. Take one piece of steak and season it with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Let it marinate. Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and add butter. Cook the steak for about 15 minutes on one side, then cook the other side until golden brown. Cook the steak until it has a good brown, golden colour.
    Now reduce the heat to medium-low and continue cooking. Add butter and garlic, tossing the steak to coat all sides. Cook for another minute. The steak is now ready. Transfer it to a bowl.

Make Cream Sauce for Steak and Baked Potatoes

  1. Take a pan, add butter and garlic, and cook until fragrant. Now add heavy cream and whisk slowly. Cook for 5 minutes. Add some salt, black pepper, and whisk until the sauce thickens. Lastly, add the minced parsley. When the sauce thickens, remove it from the stove and set it aside.
  2. Cut the steak into small cubes. Take the baked potatoes and cut them down the middle. Add some butter, salt, black pepper, and steak. Pour the cream sauce over the baked potatoes. Repeat the process with all the baked potatoes. They are now ready to eat and enjoy.
