HOW TO PREPARE AMAZING HOMEMADE FRY CHICKEN DONUTS RECIPE

WHAT ARE CHICKEN DONUTS

Chicken donuts are a perfect combination of chicken and donuts. Chicken and other spices are mixed with other ingredients, blended together, shaped into donuts, and fried in oil.

So, let’s go and make the chicken donuts…

INGREDIENTS FOR CHICKEN DONUTS

  1. Fresh boneless chicken – 300 gm
  2. 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  3. 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  4. 1 boiled potato
  5. 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
  6. 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves
  7. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  8. 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  9. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  10. 2 pieces of bread
  11. 1 egg
  12. Bread crumbs
  13. 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  14. 2-3 green chivies
  15. Vegetable oil
  16. 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  17. 1 teaspoon sugar for donuts blend
  18. 1 tablespoon cornflour

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING CHICKEN DONUTS

  1. First, take the fresh boneless chicken and cut it into small pieces to make blending easier. Then, take a blending cup and add the small chicken pieces along with chilli powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, tomato sauce, 2 green chillies, sugar for the donuts blend, cornflour, boiled and mashed potato, salt to taste, fresh coriander leaves, some black pepper, soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of oil, and finally, 2 small pieces of bread. Blend until you get a smooth paste.
  2. Next, transfer the chicken paste onto a plate. Then, take some oil in your hand, grab some chicken paste, and shape it as desired. First, shape the chicken paste into a ball, flatten it with your hand, press it slightly, and make a round shape. Then, you can use a small cookie cutter to cut out the centre of the chicken ball, forming the donuts shape. Alternatively, you can shape the chicken donuts with your hands. Repeat the same process for all the chicken donuts and place them on a plate. Let the shaped chicken donuts rest in the freezer for 1 hour.
  3. In a bowl, whisk an egg until well mixed. In another large bowl, mix all-purpose flour with some salt and chilli powder. Prepare a large plate with breadcrumbs.
  4. The next step is to coat the chicken donuts first in the flour mixture, then dip them into the beaten egg, and finally coat them with breadcrumbs. Follow this process for all the chicken donuts. You can store them for up to 3 months.
  5. Keep them in the freezer for 5 minutes to bind.
  6. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium to low flame. Add the chicken donuts and fry until well cooked. When you see the chicken donuts turn golden brown on one side, flip them and fry the other side until it also turns golden brown.
  7. Once they are golden brown on both sides, fluffy, and crispy, remove them from the oil. Repeat the same process for all the chicken donuts. Place them on kitchen paper to remove excess oil.
  8. Finally, serve the chicken donuts on a dish with different sauces, chat Marsala, and yogurt. Enjoy your meal!

STORAGE

  1. FROZEN: Chicken donuts can be frozen with the breadcrumbs coating in an airtight container or a zip-lock bag for up to 3 months.

  2. REFRIGERATOR: Store in an airtight box for 2-3 days.
